Performances by Mongolian and Republic of Fiji Islands Participants

Mongolian Americans demonstrated aspects of the traditional three-day Naadam Festival during the 2010 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The celebration includes competitions in several manly arts.  

The Veiyasana Dance Troupe entertained audiences at the Festival with traditional dances from the Fiji Islands.

Two high-ranking officials of the Republic of the Fiji Islands’ Embassy in Washington, D.C., perform as the ensemble, Fiji Vesi Tagitagi.
