Colombian Chirimía Meets American Rhythm & Blues

On the last day of the Festival, July 11, musicians from Chirimía la Contundencia (Quibdó, Colombia) and the Monitors (Wilson County, North Carolina) combined their distinct sounds during a wind instrument “cross program” jam on the Motor City Stage.

  • Tv Colombia

Me parece una gran idea fusionar la música colombiana con la norteamericana pero el video no aparece, por favor colóquenlo…

  • Canal Caracol

Ahora sí, el video está muy bien y la música mejor. Gracias

  • Tv de Ecuador

Yes, nice music. You should try to do this fusion with Ecuadorian music too, there are a lot of rhythms like bomba, san juanito, marimba esmeraldeña, pasacalle that could fit very well… Greetings
