Members of Cimarrón discuss Llanero (Plains) Music

Through exquisite musicianship and challenging arrangements, the Colombian group Cimarrón pushes the frontiers of traditional música llanera, the music of the Orinoco plains. Here Carlos Perez, Luis Moreno, and Carlos Rojas discuss the nature of ranch life and the music it inspires.

CimarrĂ³n performs one last time at the Festival on the Colombia program’s Al Son Que Me Toquen Stage, today (Sunday July 3rd) at 2:45 p.m.
