Opika Performance Group from Perechyn, Ukraine

The Opika Performance Group from Perechyn, Ukraine, reconnects local orphaned children with their region’s culture and heritage through performances of Ukraine’s diverse song and dance traditions. The group prepared an original performance for the 2011 Smithsonian Folklife Festival.
