Presenting the Monitors of Wilson County, North Carolina

The Monitors, from Wilson County, North Carolina, have been performing for over fifty years. Best known for their R&B and jazz performances, they are also recognized for their versatile repertoire, which includes rhythm and blues, country-western, and classical music.

Videography by David Barnes, Pruitt Allen, and Brandon Callahan; editing by Michael Headley.

  • Ruby Jenkins

The Monitors have been one of my favorite groups for years. An
outstanding band and an outstanding group of men and women. My
    hat is off to them

  • Zephyr Cotton Candy Machine

I love The Monitors, and think they haven’t received the notoriety that they deserve over the past couple of decades. I saw them perform once in KC at the BlueRoom, they were great!
