STATUS ALERT JUNE 30th
The Smithsonian Folklife Festival will be closed Saturday, June 30 due to damage to tents and other structures from the storms that came through the Washington, D.C., area the night of June 29. Members of the public should avoid entering the Festival site while staff assesses the situation. The Festival is anticipated to reopen July 1.
Tonight’s Rinzler Memorial Concert: Celebrating Worth Long’s Legacy will be presented indoors in the Baird Auditorium of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History at the intersection of 10th Street and Constitution Avenue. The Evening of Song with In Process... and the Rock Creek Singers is cancelled.
