I was an undergrad student of Mered’s at Boston University around 1954. His deep humanism and warmth were as evident then as they are in this brief clip. I have saved and treasured his gift to me of his first LP, “Welsh Folk-Songs.

Thank you for your comment. It was an honor to work with Meredydd Evans.

I was a graduate student in English when Meredyyd was the same in the philosophy department. I was around when he did the Smithsonian Welsh Folksongs album (of which I have a copy) and I also remember his wife, Phyllis. I would very much like to be, so many decades later, back in touch with him. Thanks in advance.
