I am glad that the Festival is highlighting the diversity of Peace Corps Volunteers and the diversity of experiences they have faced. It was fascinating to hear about how the Volunteers had their own personal identities shaped, in part, by the perceptions of people in their host countries.

Hi Phil–thanks for your comment. It was a really interesting panel, and it brought to mind the fine work that you and your students and colleagues have been doing at the University of Maryland to document the experiences of Asian Pacific American Peace Corps volunteers.
