    The 2012 Folklife Festival features a very eclectic series of evening concerts. Curators Jim Deutsch and Mark Puryear provide a preview of the following concerts:

    Wednesday, June 27, the National Museum of African American History and Culture presents Bring Back the Funk

    Thursday June 28 and Thursday, June 5, Azerbaijani Music with Imamyar Hasanov and Pezhham Akhavass

    Friday, June 29, the National Museum of African American History and Culture presents The Music of Monticello and the Blue Ridge

    Saturday, June 30, Ralph Rinzler Memorial Concert: Celebrating Worth Long's Legacy

    Sunday, July 1, Hungarian Roma Music with Kálmán Balogh

    All evening concerts begin at 6 p.m.
