The ’93 Quilt display changed my life. I was just getting ready to graduate from college in DC and happened upon a display. Seeing the quilt, hearing the stories and facing myself ( and potential future ) in the face of AIDS made me a better man. 19 years later, too many lost friends later and a world of experiences that stem from that one experience, I know I am a better person (and alive ) because of the work of the Names Project and the AIDS Memorial Quilt.
