Szék is a town in central Transylvania, Romania, with a large ethnic Hungarian population. It has played an important role in the dance-house movement and remains a mecca for folk dance and music aficionados. This session, recorded on June 29 in the Heritage House of the Hungarian Heritage Festival program, included an ensemble of bass, violin, and viola, as well as a dance demonstration.
